Google's Knowledge Graph Widens Internet Search

We all know that search terms can have multiple meanings and it is high time that search engines could tell the difference based on the vast repository of online information available. Enter Google's Knowledge Graph to sort it all out, with mobile users high up the priority list.

Google's new Knowledge Graph feature is a tweak to its search function that should help to distinguish, or better clarify, the options available to you when you perform a search. It links things together, or categorizes them to help you better get to what you're after.
The graph  collections information from websites and links it together, so an author can be linked to their books, then similar authors in their category of writing and so on. If one of those authors won a literary prize, then you could find other winners, expanding your knowledge in several directions from a basic search.

The search is designed to help you find answers quickly and efficiently, you can see more relevant information more quickly and perform logical extensions of your search without having to dig around for more information.

It is currently rolling out to most Android 2.2+ and iOS4+ devices. On Android, the Graph feature is available through your browser's Google search and the Quick Search Box. On iOS, it is currently only available in the browser.A further post, discusses the Knowledge Graph feature on smartphones and tablets.

Now Experience Google in Apple Products

Finally wait is over,at Google’s annual event, Google I/O 2012, Google has announced that two of its best products and services, the Chrome browser and Google Drive, would be available for the iOS platform.
Fist talk about-
Google Web Browser for iOS- Google Chrome

When you power up the browser, you are asked to login with your Gmail account. It is possible to skip this but it is helpful in easily syncing your device with your bookmarks and other preferences.

Some of the features of the browser are as follows:

1.      The navigation bar also doubles up as the search bar just like the desktop version of Chrome.
2.      You can open multiple tabs with ease on the browser.
3.      Drag your finger from one edge of the screen to quickly change tabs
4.      Incognito: Browse in private with incognito tabs. The pages viewed here will not appear in the history or leave traces like cookies

When we opened a bunch of tabs and websites on the browser, they opened and rendered quite well. If you are used to using Chrome on any other device, especially an Android device, you will feel right at home with the interface. To the left of the navigation bar is the back button. To the right, you have a drop down that gives you the options to star, reload, open a new tab, new Incognito tab, Bookmarks, other devices, email, find in page, request desktop site, settings and help. To the right of the drop down menu is a button is a button that shows you all the tabs that are open (only on the iPod touch and iPhone).

Technical Features Of Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7

Some technical terminologies:

Virtualiztion: In computing virtualiztion is the facility that allows multiple operating systems to simultaneously share   processor resources in a safe and efficient manner. Two types of virtualization hardware and software.

Hyper-threading: Basically it is parallel processing. A is partitioned into small multiple sub processes called threads and these threads are distributed among different cores of processor and computed in parallel to complete a process as a whole in short duration.

Turbo Boost: The design concept behind Turbo Boost is commonly referred to as "dynamic over clocking". And over clocking is the process of making a computer or component operate faster than the specified clock frequency by the manufacturer by modifying system parameters

CORE i3
Features: The technology behind Core i3 processors includes dual core base, hyper threading support(2-4 threads), and virtualization. Core i3 processors do support 64-bit versions of Windows. By taking advantage of Intel’s new chipset and 32nm technology, Core i3’s have even been known to perform closely to lower end Core 2 Quad processors. It contains 3-4 MB cache.

Usage Scope: If you use your computer for basic tasks such as word processing, email, surfing the web, etc., a Core i3 processor is more than enough to handle all of that with ease. A core i3 processor is a solid, affordable choice for the heavy majority of people.

 CORE i5
Features: Technically, Core i5 processors are marketed a bit differently. There are two main types of Core i5 Processors, dual core, and quad core. Dual core i5 processors have 32nm technology, hyper threading (2-4 threads), virtualization support, and Turbo Boost technology. Quad core i5 processors have 45nm technology, virtualization support and Turbo Boost technology, but do not have hyper threading support. It contains 3-8 MB cache

Grid Computing is Virtual SuperComputers

Grid computing in general is a type of parallel computing that relies on computer resources connected to a network (private, public or the internet) by a network interface. So it combines the resources of many computers in a network to a single problem at the same time - usually to a scientific or technical problem that requires a great number of computer processing cycles or access to large amounts of data.

Before grid computing there was massive multiprocessor supercomputer processing huge and complex computation. However supercomputers are much costly for both hardware and software. The main advantage, in case of hardware, of distributed computing is that each node can be purchased as commodity hardware, which, when combined, can produce a similar computing resource as supercomputer, but at a lower cost.
