How Cloud Computing Serves Users

Cloud Computing is virtual system where user,on-demand, can remotely access services through internet in real-time.Server provides lots of services:

1.Application :User can use application software without the need to install on user's computer.Actually application is installed in server,so multiple user can use one installed application at same time. For example:Bit torrent, BOINC projects,Skype,Facebook,Google Apps,Microsoft Online Services.

2.Infrastructure: Physical resources like processor,RAM and other are provided over cloud computing
resource pool over network.User might have only display unit. For example:Monitor connected to internet.

3.Platform and API :This form of cloud computing delivers  development environment and API as services.User can build application that run on provider's infrastructure. For example:Java Google Web Toolkit,Python Django,Ruby on Rails,.NET,web Hosting,Proprietary.

4.Service:A cloud service includes "products, services and solutions that are and consumed in real-time over the internet".They're most common in trading environments, such as expense management systems that allow users to order travel or secretarial services from a common platform that then coordinates the service
delivery and pricing within the specifications set by the user.

5.Storage: Server provide specific amount of space to user for data storage.User can access his/her data at any time from anywhere. For example:Google App Engine's BigTable data storage, MobileMe iDisk,Nirvanix CloudNAS.

6.Remote scanning: One of the oldest forms of cloud computing, a managed service is basically an
application exposed to IT rather than to end-users, such as a virus scanning
service for e-mail or an application monitoring service
