Initially Zuckerberg,Harvard University drop-out student,developed as exclusive social networking site for Harvard University students.After it became popular among tthe Harvard University students,Facebook was then introduced to a few neighboring as well.This continued until nearly every university students become used to Facebook.Hence when Facebook was finally open to public,everyone already knew what Facebook was about so many users are ready to join.This already had made sure toward Facebook's success.
In addition to,Facebook's interface is simple ,clean and organized which differs it from MySpace.It followed Google's example and understood the power of less.

mainly focusedon sponser.There is still nasty ads on Login and homepages in MySpace website which create inconvenience for users.Facebook waited until it was hugely popular before introducing advertising.
Facebook has helped companies to increase its online presence by getting free advertisements everywhere with every business inviting their readers,followers,viewers etc.As a result many people joined the Facebook.
